Boys VB in Schools!

Forza1 started its boys program in 2014, before many of the local schools had boys volleyball. In 2015 a few local schools added Boys Volleyball (including Vista Murrieta and Murrieta Valley) to join schools like Paloma, Hemet, San Jacinto and West Valley who already had boys volleyball.

In 2016, growth continued and Great Oak, Temecula Valley and Chaparral all added Boys "club" teams but could not participate in CIF. Finally, in 2017 with a ton of support from the community and Forza1 families and coaches, boys Volleyball became a recognized CIF sport in the Temecula/Murrieta area and the Southwestern League started!

Elsinore and Temescal Canyon also started boys programs in 2017 due to the demand and growing interest! Thank you to all our great families and many parents in the community who pushed for boys volleyball to be an official CIF sport!

Forza For All is also hosting a Middle School and Elementary School League that is host to 4 boys teams! These teams play in the fall so make sure to sign up for their FREE tryouts!

What does this mean? More opportunity, more talent, and better volleyball!

What opportunities are their for boys volleyball now and later?

  1. SCVA Club Volleyball for boys is one of the fastest growing club sports in Southern California for 10-18 year olds. Due to the tremendous success and exposure of our men’s beach and indoor volleyball teams at recent Olympics, volleyball is on the rise! The club season runs from September to June.

  2. Volleyball is a big sport for High School boys in the coastal communities of Southern California and has finally reached the valley!! In the Sunbelt League you have teams like Hemet, San Jacinto, Perris, West Valley and more. In the NEW Southwestern League you have Temecula Valley, Great Oak, Murrieta Valley, Vista Murrieta and Chaparral. Currently Elsinore and Temescal are independent and some private schools like Calvary Murrieta also have boys!

  3. Men’s College Volleyball is extremely competitive. There are approximately 24 Division 1 programs, many of which are in California, as well as Division 2 and 3 programs nationwide. There are also organized Club Volleyball opportunities for Men at various 4 year and 2 year institutions.

  4. Professional Volleyball is a very popular sport worldwide. It is highly regarded in Europe, Asia, Brazil and Russia and more-so everyday in America. There are over 100 American Men ages 21-38 playing professionally overseas and making anywhere from 40K to 500k. Now, not many players get to this level, but if you are serious about volleyball and really love the game, and are good at it, there are very exciting opportunities out there.

Why Play Boys Club Volleyball?

  1. You want to & it is really fun!
  2. It is great exercise!
  3. It develops and improves your overall athleticism and it carries over to all sports. Learn speed, hand-eye coordination, vertical leap, reaction speed, strength & agility!
  4. It is one of the best team sports. Very similar to basketball, it is fast paced and requires all members of the team to be in sync. It is a very explosive sport & full of intensity!

Thank You for visiting Forza1 Volleyball

Forza1 means "strength as one" and
we hope you are ONE of us this season.
